The Pacific Administrative and Planning Region, RAP Pacífico

About project

After the signing of an agreement of wills in 2010 and a process of more than six years of concertation and coordination between the four governorates that make up the Pacific Region – Cauca, Chocó, Valle del Cauca and Nariño – in December 2016 was signed the agreement that gave life to the Administrative and Planning Region, RAP Pacific. The implementation of this planning instrument is part of a general process of transformation of the territorial order of the entire region.

The RAP Pacífico was created based on the Constitution and Organic Law of Territorial Ordering and an agreement of will signed by the governors of the Pacific region to strengthen long-term planning in the Region and manage in an articulated manner: development, sustainability, quality of life and regional integration.
